Aging Gracefully
Aging is not for the weak in confidence. Just looking into a mirror can set a bad tone for the rest of the day. Wouldn’t you like some simple tips on how to improve your lovely face to the point of your closest friends asking if you had a face lift?! Let me give you some suggestions.
Aging gracefully…
I turned 60 in July. Thank goodness for the Young Living Products, they seem to be helping me age gracefully. I’m not as energetic as I was in my 20’s & 30’s, but I’m okay with that.
I like cutting back and being more centered, rather than running all over and being exhausted at the end of the day. It still happens, but not nearly as much as it used to. I’ve learned to set boundaries. To say no when I don’t feel like doing something or going somewhere.
Another thing that helps me be at peace and comfortable with my aging, is the Young Living Products. They have helped me mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. And who doesn’t need that!
A quick-fix society…
It seems as though our society is a “quick fix” society. All of which the medical doctors and plastic surgeons are more than happy to help you with. But when we use their medications and procedures, do we actually think about the repercussions to us emotionally & physically?
When we support the body with the Young Living Products, there is only inner and outer healing. And the repercussions are positive.
Healthy skin suggestions…
Here are a few suggestions that have helped with my sun damage…wrinkles… complexion… turkey neck and more!
My face routine…
I started using Helichrysum, Myrrh and Lavender EO Singles’s after the dermatologist gave me a medicated cream to use on a few spots I got on my face in April 2018. The cream made my face raw and ate holes in my skin! Needless to say, I wasn’t happy. My dermatologist actually told me to quit using the medication and go back to using my oils. Wow!
I used the above three oils on my face, neck and chest 2-3 times a day until the bottles ran out. About 1- 2 months. They helped repair the skin damage and gave it nourishment, along with other benefits. (Helichrysum and Myrrh I didn’t dilute. Lavender I added with my lotion.)
After they were gone…every morning I would use Gentle Baby EO Blend, full strength, after my shower on my face, neck and chest. At night… Sacred Sandalwood EO Single, full strength, after my bath on my face, neck and chest. I also inhaled the Sacred Sandalwood because it helps relax me and give me a sense of peace.
I top the oils off with Sandalwood Moisture Cream, morning and night. It’s a little thicker, but at my age, my skin has gotten thinner and I need extra moisture.
And as always, my favorite for turkey neck, face wrinkles and saggy arms, Cypress EO Single. I use it full strength on my face, neck and chest. I also mix it in my morning lotion for my entire body. I’ve been using this about 1-2 years and have had amazing results!!!
I have been so impressed with the results since I started using this oil routine in April and I feel like it has affected all my skin. But then…all the oils and supplements support the entire body and go wherever they are needed. Heck, I think the loose skin on my thin little legs has even tightened in the last few months. I love it!
Concentrated, all natural and therapeutic grade…
Remember, these products are extremely concentrated and a little goes a long way. And…they are all natural and have a therapeutic value. Something you don’t get from the products you may be using now.
If you think the products you are using now are safe for you, put in Google…”dangers of _____” and put some of the ingredients from your face products in there. See what comes up. I think you’ll be shocked.
Facial exercises…
Another thing that helped me was doing facial exercises. I started them 3 months before my daughter’s wedding in August 2018 and it showed in pictures that it was helping. A lot! Then I did some videos for my Young Living business and compared them to older video’s . The difference was huge! So I do the exercises daily.
I don’t do all of them, I picked ones for the areas I was concerned about. Then… I took a screen shot of each exercise and put them on one sheet and printed it. I taped it on the wall in my bathroom. When I sit to go potty…I do the facial exercises. What can I say…I’m a multitasker.
